The senior club is made up of parishioners from MBS and Sts Simon & Jude churches. The senior club meets on the first Thursday of the month at 10:00 am in the Sts. Simon & Jude Parish center. An outing/day trip is usually held each month. Anyone aged 55 and up is invited and welcome to attend and join the Senior Club.
Meetings are held on the last Monday of the month in March, May, September, October, and December at 6:30 pm in the parish Center. The annual Card Party is held on the first Wednesday in November. The card party is the clubs major fundraiser for the year.
In the event of a death of a registered parishioner, the parish office will contact the bereavement leaders after arrangements have been made and finalized. The parish provides meat and other dishes that are potluck provided by the team members.
Committee cares for the worship space and arranges flowers and appropriate symbols which enhance the liturgy. The purpose is to enhance the liturgical space so that the meaning of the season or occasion are heightened.
A committee that makes small blankets that are blessed to take to the sick to help comfort them.
Committee that counts the donations made to the church during collections at masses. Meets on Monday mornings in the Rectory.
